It allows you to receive emails and automatically forward them to an email address of your choosing. Example: Your high-traffic website, www.example.com, has a subdomain called info@example.com where the users will send their emails to. However, you want those emails to go instead to an email address called example@gmail.com. An email forwarder would take all the emails sent to info@example.com, and instead send them to example@gmail.com. How to set up an email forwarder:
Note: CPanel also gives you the option to set up a Domain Forwarder, which, in addition to forwarding individual mail accounts, allows you to forward all email from one domain to another. | |
