My Domain Expired 30 Days or Longer Ago, Can I Renew?
Posted by Trey T on 03 January 2013 10:07 PM

If your domain expired 30+ days ago, it has entered what is known as "Redemption Period" with the root-level registry.

This means that the root-level registry will charge a fee of $250 to re-instate your domain.  Alternatively, you may wait a total of 90-120 days of the expiration date of the domain for the domain to fully expire, then simply re-register the domain.  Unfortunately, in doing so, you may risk losing the domain to someone else who may be interested in registering it.
