Speed of DNS Transfer to Sitelutions

Please read this if you are modifying your nameserver settings at your registrar so that your domain uses our nameservers.

Speed of changes depend highly on how long your current registrar takes to update the root nameservers -- the process usually takes up to 48 hours, but can take longer.  This is beyond our control -- we have nothing to do with this.  If this is taking longer than expected, you should contact your former registrar.

Even beyond the 48 hour (approximate) period, you might not be able to access your site if your ISP has cached DNS records pointing to the old IP address -- this depends on your former TTL (time-to-live) settings.  In total, this process usually takes about 48 hours, but can take longer.  Unfortunately we can't make any guarantees because it depends highly on other parties involved and previous settings.
